On Monday we will be discussing and learning about the mammals and the fish that we find in the seas and oceans through learning activities, games, and crafts. We will provide snacks, lunch, and craft supplies. On Tuesday, we will be taking a field trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. The students will provide their own lunch on Tuesday; we will provide transportation, aquarium admittance with movie and snacks on the bus. 4th of July crafts is a creative summer program where kids will make fun, festive crafts to celebrate the 4th of July. They'll create everything from decorations to accessories, perfect for adding some extra sparkle to their holiday weekend! Grades: K-6 Instructor: Breann Stassinos & Andrea Juarez

Dive into the world of dragons! We will learn about different "breeds", drawing heavily on various culture's folklore, and learn from a fun book series! We will hatch our very own dragon eggs; each student will decide the features and characteristics of their dragons. We will begin reading the first book in a dragon series together and each student will take home their own copy! There will be hands on learning with telescopes and great opportunities to look at the sky to see what it’s all about!  Students will be staying at the dorms Monday - Thursday and picked up by 10:00 am Friday! This day camp, inspired and led by our dedicated high school Girl Scouts.Over the course of two fun-filled days, students will engage in a variety or activities centered around four exciting categories: STEM, outdoors, messy crafts, and a special introduction to at least one Girl Scout tradition. In this class we will review composition and how to capture a compelling photograph. We will focus more on the images versus what we are shooting the images with. With that being said, phone cameras, inexpensive cameras, digital cameras, iPads, ect. are all acceptable to take your photographs! The device just must be able to transfer images to a computer.
