Join us for summer's version of Fun Friday! Summer is time for hanging out with friends, old and new! We always have a great time playing indoor games, board games, and musical chairs, just to name a few! We will go to lunch at 11:00 at the T-rex Grill. At noon, we will get on sunscreen and hats and head outside to play some outdoor games like, dodgeball, kickball, volleyball, and cool off through the sprinklers! There is also more time to break out the slip-n-slide and to have a side-walk chalk competition. We will provide snacks, lunch, and craft supplies. On Tuesday, we will be taking a field trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. The students will provide their own lunch on Tuesday; we will provide transportation, aquarium admittance with movie and snacks on the bus. Jump into exciting training in acting, singing, and dancing with WWCC theatre student interns and with the direction of Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre; Anthony Romeo-Adcock! Students will be rehearsing for "Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella: Youth Edition" The rehearsal period will last four weeks beginning on June 30th, Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm. There will be two performances on July 23rd and July 24th at 7:00pm at the WWCC Theatre. Please read and fill out these forms BEFORE auditions - we do need liability for both video AND video. BOCES Forms Auditions are Saturday May 3rd from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at the WWCC Theatre. Actors need to prepare a song to perform while acting (no more than 1 minute total). Dive into the world of dragons! We will learn about different "breeds", drawing heavily on various culture's folklore, and learn from a fun book series! We will hatch our very own dragon eggs; each student will decide the features and characteristics of their dragons. We will begin reading the first book in a dragon series together and each student will take home their own copy!
