Wyoming is recognized as a significant sire for dinosaur fossils. Come back in time with us as we learn about different types of dinosaurs, marine reptiles, pterosaurs, and fossils. We will be meeting together for fun dinosaur adventures and activities where we will learn, play games, make crafts, and more. Dinosaur themed snacks will be provided each day. Students will receive t-shirts and their own dinosaur book to take home. This camp will end with an amazing field trip to George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park in Ogden, UT. We will meet Monday - Wednesday from 9:30-12:00pm at WWCC room #A202,  then on Thursday we will meet at 7:30 am. In the magical work of Harry Potter we will experience many of the enchanting events of the books and characters like potions, wand making and even quidditch! You will be sorted into a Hogwarts house; houses will compete to be the house champions! Please bring a lunch for each day; snacks will be provided! Envision a kingdom of snow where the residents are Winter Wind Workers, Blizzard Bringers, Icicle Sharpeners and Snow Smoothers, ruled buy the Storm King and the Snow Queen.  Add to that a Prince looking for a proper Princess to share the throne.  Now imagine the Princess and her friend the Pea living in a kingdom of green rolling hills and running rivers with her subjects, The Flower Gardeners, River Runners, Green Shoot Growers and Tree Barkers.  Her parents, King Size and Queen Size, do all they  and to keep things running smoothly.  Who knows, maybe the dancing Dust Bunnies can help?  Although the two kingdoms think they have nothing in common  (except maybe a pesky Jack Frost that freezes anything and everything), the peace-loving Leprechauns prove otherwise.  Throw in some Phony Princesses and you have a real fiasco!  This ain't your grandma's PRINCESS AND THE PEA.  June 23-28  10 am-2:30 pm  Rock Springs High School Auditorium  You may find the registration form on SBOCES Website. Dive into the world of dragons! We will learn about different "breeds", drawing heavily on various culture's folklore, and learn from a fun book series! We will hatch our very own dragon eggs; each student will decide the features and characteristics of their dragons. We will begin reading the first book in a dragon series together and each student will take home their own copy!
