Get lost in the stars in BOCES Astronomy Camp! Students will be leaning all about astronomy and what makes it so beautiful! There will be hands on learning with telescopes and great opportunities to look at the sky to see what it’s all about!  Students will be staying at the dorms Monday - Thursday and picked up by 10:00 am Friday! Grades: Must have completed 4th grade - 8th Room #A206 Instructor: Denise Dewey   RESIDENCE ASTRONOMY PROGRAM!! This program has been in existence since 1991. Here's what to expect during the session: DAY ONE: Plan to arrive at the commons area in Rocky Mountain II, the dorm your child will be staying in) at WWCC by 1:00 p.m. for a short orientation for students and parents. Classes will begin right after settling into the dorms. Bring the required signed behavior contract (link below) and your personal items. Evening observations begin about 8:30 p.m. each night. We will be working on a quilt project or a quilt-as-you-go pattern. You may bring your own machine if you do not want to borrow one. There is some experience required, but make sure you're eager to learn! We will meet each Saturday as follows: 5/31, 6/7, 6/21, 7/5, 7/19, and 8/2. Ages: 16+ Instructor: Eva Wasseen

This a non-audition choir for teens and adults in high school and above. This program will begin June 5th and go though August 7th from 7:00pm-8:30pm every Thursday at the WWCC Dance Studio. Join us for summer's version of Fun Friday! Summer is time for hanging out with friends, old and new! We always have a great time playing indoor games, board games, and musical chairs, just to name a few! We will go to lunch at 11:00 at the T-rex Grill.  At noon, we will get on sunscreen and hats and head outside to play some outdoor games like, dodgeball, kickball, volleyball, and cool off through the sprinklers! There is also more time to break out the slip-n-slide and to have a side-walk chalk competition. Grades: K-6 (Class will be all summer long June 9th - August 7th; Monday-Thursday only 9am-3pm) **PARENTS PLEASE TRY TO SUNSCREEN YOUR CHILD(REN) BEFORE ARRIVING TO CLASS - WE WILL HAVE SOME AVAILABLE, BUT IT IS BEST TO APPLY BEFORE ARRIVAL. Jump into exciting training in acting, singing, and dancing with WWCC theatre student interns and with the direction of Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre; Anthony Romeo-Adcock! Students will be rehearsing for "Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella: Youth Edition" The rehearsal period will last four weeks beginning on June 30th, Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm. There will be two performances on July 23rd and July 24th at 7:00pm at the WWCC Theatre. Please read and fill out these forms BEFORE auditions - we do need liability for both video AND video. BOCES Forms Auditions are Saturday May 3rd from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at the WWCC Theatre. Actors need to prepare a song to perform while acting (no more than 1 minute total). Please bring sheet music for the pianist. Students auditioning will also take part in a dance audition so please wear comfortable clothes. Those students and/or parents interested in helping build sets, costumes, and props or working backstage; please come speak with us. Immerse yourself in everything Wizard of Oz! Join us as we make bubble wands, play games, read books, do crafts and make yummy treats – all about the Wizard of Oz! Please bring a water bottle and oversized t-shirt for messy activities. *Class will be held in the foods room at RSJH* Ages: 7-10 Instructors: Sheila Syvrud & Carrie Padilla

For four days students will be emerged in creative art activities.  Students will complete nearly a dozen of creative projects and receive a sketchbook and learn how to draw the world around them.  Please have students bring lunch each day and their own water bottle. This day camp, inspired and led by our dedicated high school Girl Scouts.Over the course of two fun-filled days, students will engage in a variety or activities centered around four exciting categories: STEM, outdoors, messy crafts, and a special introduction to at least one Girl Scout tradition. This class is designed for girls in grades k-5, and is required that you bring your own cold lunch. Grades: K-5 Instructor: Melissa Webb & Kris Sherwin

Learn all about comics in this fun interactive class! We will create our own heros and villains, and have fun with comic-related games and projects! Ages: 10-13 Instructor: Jen & Landon Atkinson  

Welcome to the second addition of our Harry Potter camp! It is recommended that you have attended Harry Potter Camp in the past, and have read the fourth book in the series, but it isn't required! We will be exploring the events of the Triwizard Tournament! Get ready for some amazing challenges, new teams to be apart of, and of course the same world of Harry Potter you already know and love! If you’re creative, competitive, and love to bake, this is your class! Each group will get a new daily challenge, including a daily presentation and competition. Judging will be by age groups, and will be based on creativity, taste, presentation and a clean kitchen. Awards will be given to the winning groups!
