We will be discovering outside games you can play while you are camping! Some of the activities will be sleeping bag races, making s'mores, craft making, games with pool noodles, and much more! Join us for the world of rainbow and fabulous colors! Our activities will include making necklaces, rainbow snacks, suncatchers, and rainbow stem activities! We will be making rainbow treats and rainbow candy! Instructor: Nannette McCurdy
Come join us and be a scientist! There will be activities that include playdough volcano, rockets, crystal making, and editable science projects! There will also be making glow in the dark fizzy goop! We will be learning how scientists work and the way that they see things! Instructor: Nannette McCurdy
Join us to study dinosaurs with a trip to Vernal, Utah to visit the dinosaur museum and the site to see the Dinosaur National Monument. We will have videos and activities centered around the dinosaurs that we will be learning about in Vernal. Please bring a water bottle and a big shirt for messy activities - a snack will be provided each day. Instructor: Sheila Syvrud and Nannette McCurdy For the field trip we will leave RS on Friday June 28th at 7:00am. There is a required meeting at 3:30pm on Thursday June 27th for information and rules for our field trip. Parent(s) of children MUST ATTEND for children that will be joining us on the trip.

We will provide snacks, lunch, and craft supplies. On Tuesday we will be taking a field trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. The children who participate in the field trip are asked to bring their own lunch for the trip and SW BOCES will provide transportation, aquarium admittance with movie, and snacks on the bus! We will be using materials like rocks, pinecones, dandelions, and other treasures that we can find in nature! Solar s'mores will be one of the delicious treats we will be making, and we will cook them in pizza boxes. Please bring a water bottle and a big shirt or apron that can get messy! They will range from projects like building ferris wheels, being out in the warm summer sun, bottle flipping, hammock making, building houses strong enough to take on the "Big Bad Wolf" and so much more.
