Backyard Birding (grades 1-3)

Did you know that nearly 200 bird species make their home in Wyoming year round?! Join Backyard Birding as we discover birds that can be found in our own backyards! We will learn the basics of identifying and attracting different types of birds found around our great state - songbirds, jays owls, and more. We will make crafts, play games, and venture outside to see what birds we can find around the college campus! For ages: completed 1st grade - 3rd grade - We will meet at WWCC Rm. #A208 Instructor - Jerrica Brasington

Adventure Birding – Completed 4th – 6th Grade

Join us as we discover the wonderful world of Birds!  We will learn the basics of identifying different types of birds found in our region.  Join us for a fun week of bird adventure, ending Thursday with an amazing out-of-town field trip to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City, Utah.  We will meet Monday - Wednesday from 12:30 -- 3:00 then Thursday we will meet at WWCC at 7:30 am.  Please bring your own water bottle, sack lunch and a sense of adventure for the field trip!  SSD#1 Transportation Department will provide bussing.
