Home on the Range – Session 2 (Ages7-9)

How would you like to have an experience in seeing what it was like living on a ranch 100 years ago? You can do that when you go with us to a historical ranch outside of Pinedale, Wyoming. Students will see what the inside of a house looked like long ago, gather chicken eggs, visit the ice house and many other fun things are in store for the day! The ranch has a gift shop with items starting at $1.00 where you could grab a souvenir.  We will start our day at 9:00am at the college circle and arrive back in the same location about 4:00pm. Under the Sea Adventures – Session 2 (2nd-4th)

Get excited to see all of the adventures that happen under the sea! We will be learning all things to do with the life that goes unseen though activities, games and crafts! We will provide snacks, lunch, and craft supplies. On Tuesday we will be taking a field trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy, UT. The children who participate in the field trip are asked to bring their own lunch for the trip and SW BOCES will provide transportation, aquarium admittance with movie, and snacks on the bus! Photography Composition for Fun (Grades 4-6)

In this class we will be focusing on how to capture and eye catching photograph! Any "camera" will do - ipad, phone, digital camera, inexpensive camera; whatever gets the job done! Please bring camera, USB connection, snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. Also, don't forget the eagerness to get creative! Astronomy – Session 2 (Grades finished 4th-8th)

Students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will view the night sky and learn the names of summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in SLC, UT to observe the programs and exhibits offered at the planetarium. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers! Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms at 1pm on the first day of class! Missoula Children’s – Robin Hood (Entering 1st-12th grade)

RSHS Auditorium 1375 James Drive, Rock Springs, WY, United States

Students MUST have a clear schedule for the entire week an d if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. This will include all day Saturday! NO EXCEPTIONS! There will be a cast of approx. 50-60 students plus assistant directors. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. All students MUST be residents of Sweetwater County. The first rehearsal will be after auditions June 24th starting at 10:00 am. The rehearsals will be 10:00am until 2:30pm daily throughout the week. Performance June 29th at 4:00pm at the RSHS Auditorium. Instructor: Christy Lev Program: The Missoula Children's Theatre presents "Robin Hood". Under the rule of Prince John , fledging hero, Robin Hood is forced to relinquish his property after beating the Sherriff of Nottingham in an archery tournament. Robin forms a group of like-minded avengers to rise up against he taxes taken by Nottingham. Robin then tries to save King Richard from Austrian captivity by contributing to his ransom, but Prince John stands in the way of his plan, while Maid Marian is held hostage.
