Join us to study dinosaurs with a trip to Vernal, Utah to visit the dinosaur museum and the site to see the Dinosaur National Monument. We will have videos and activities centered around the dinosaurs that we will be learning about in Vernal. Please bring a water bottle and a big shirt for messy activities - a snack will be provided each day. There is a required meeting at 3:30pm on Thursday June 27th for information and rules for our field trip. Parent(s) of children MUST ATTEND for children that will be joining us on the trip.

We will get our comic con in this fun and interactive class all about comics! We will study the wat comics are written, the similarities and differences compared to other books. Students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will view the night sky and learn the names of summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in SLC, UT to observe the programs and exhibits offered at the planetarium. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers! Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms! Instructor: Denise Dewey *Students must ride the bus to and from the field trips.* *Students will be staying at the dorms at WWCC - all meals will be provided! Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towels*

If you're creative, competitive, and love baking - this class is for you! Everyday each group will get a new challenge that they can use their talents to complete. Each group will  be judged on creativity, taste, presentation, and tidiness of their kitchen! Small prizes will  be given for each category. Please bring a water bottle and a big shirt or apron for messy activities. Instructor: Mrs. Syvrud *Teachers will be responsible for putting the pants in and out of the ovens for students safety.* **Cell phones will be kept in a basket visible and assessible to all owners but will not be allowed in the cooking area. They will be allowed for pictures at the end! If you need to phone your child or he/she needs to phone you in an emergency, their phone will be there for use.**
