Camp Creepers and Leapers- Herpetology Get ready to hop, slither, and explore! Camp Creepers & Leapers is a hands-on herpetology adventure where young scientists dive into the amazing world of reptiles and amphibians. Designed for curious minds ages 9–13, this camp blends outdoor exploration, creative projects, and real science skills in a fun, supportive environment. Over four action-packed days, campers will investigate frogs, lizards, snakes, turtles and more, with live animals visiting the classroom each day. Along the way, they’ll keep a field journal, learn how scientists observe wildlife safely, and build confidence in exploring the natural world. A Beginners Guide to Raising Dragons Dive into the world of dragons! We will learn about different "breeds", drawing heavily on various culture's folklore, and learn from a fun book series! We will hatch our very own dragon eggs; each student will decide the features and characteristics of their dragons. Board Games Galore Jr. Get ready to play, think, and move! In this high-energy class, kids will dive into a world of play that blends nostalgic "old favorites" with exciting, modern strategy games and even some life size game play! Beyond just playing, students will step into the role of lead designer to invent and build their very own original board game. Throughout every challenge, we emphasize the "Heart of the Game"—practicing good sportsmanship, learning to win and lose with grace, and cheering on every teammate. Over three days, we will play popular board games while learning the secrets to winning. You’ll practice your "detective skills" to spot a bluff and learn how to manage your resources like a pro to stay ahead of the competition. You will even get to step into the shoes of a developer to design and build your very own board game to take home! You will practice winning with humility, losing with grace, and offering constructive feedback, ensuring that every player walks away with sharper logic and a true appreciation for the spirit of competition. UNICORN/RAINBOWS/JEWELRY Oh boy, this class is full of unicorns, rainbows and jewelry making. Always fun activities that come with these three areas of fun!
