Sew Summer Saturdays – Adult Sewing

Fun Dayz of Summer with Ms. Adrienne

Join us for summer's version of Fun Friday! Summer is time for hanging out with friends, old and new! We always have a great time playing indoor games, board games, and musical chairs, just to name a few! We will go to lunch at 11:00 at the T-rex Grill.  At noon, we will get on sunscreen and hats and head outside to play some outdoor games like, dodgeball, kickball, volleyball, and cool off through the sprinklers! There is also more time to break out the slip-n-slide and to have a side-walk chalk competition. Grades: K-6 (Class will be all summer long June 9th - August 7th; Monday-Thursday only 9am-3pm) **PARENTS PLEASE TRY TO SUNSCREEN YOUR CHILD(REN) BEFORE ARRIVING TO CLASS - WE WILL HAVE SOME AVAILABLE, BUT IT IS BEST TO APPLY BEFORE ARRIVAL. Summer Theatre for Youth – “Cinderella”

WWCC Theatre 2500 College Dr, Rock Springs

Jump into exciting training in acting, singing, and dancing with WWCC theatre student interns and with the direction of Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre; Anthony Romeo-Adcock! Students will be rehearsing for "Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella: Youth Edition" The rehearsal period will last four weeks beginning on June 30th, Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-3:00pm. There will be two performances on July 23rd and July 24th at 7:00pm at the WWCC Theatre. Please read and fill out these forms BEFORE auditions - we do need liability for both video AND video. BOCES Forms Auditions are Saturday May 3rd from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at the WWCC Theatre. Actors need to prepare a song to perform while acting (no more than 1 minute total). Please bring sheet music for the pianist. Students auditioning will also take part in a dance audition so please wear comfortable clothes. Those students and/or parents interested in helping build sets, costumes, and props or working backstage; please come speak with us. Photography Composition

In this class we will review composition and how to capture a compelling photograph. We will focus more on the images versus what we are shooting the images with. With that being said, phone cameras, inexpensive cameras, digital cameras, iPads, ect. are all acceptable to take your photographs! The device just must be able to transfer images to a computer. Please bring your camera with its USB connection cord, a lunch, water bottle and excitement for photography! Grades: 4-8 Instructor: Jen Wiberg

Lens-ational Photography – Urban Photography

In this class we will review composition and how to capture a compelling photograph. We will be taking a trip through Green River and Rock Springs photographing historical buildings and structures. Capturing elements and shapes, details and textures.  As it progressively gets dark we will capture the night lights and experiment with long exposure photography. We will focus more on the images versus what we are shooting the images with.
