Students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will view the night sky and learn the names of summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in SLC, UT to observe the programs and exhibits offered at the planetarium. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers! Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms! Instructor: Denise Dewey *Students must ride the bus to and from the field trips.* *Students will be staying at the dorms at WWCC - all meals will be provided! Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and towels*
If you're creative, competitive, and love baking - this class is for you! Everyday each group will get a new challenge that they can use their talents to complete. Each group will be judged on creativity, taste, presentation, and tidiness of their kitchen! Small prizes will be given for each category. Please bring a water bottle and a big shirt or apron for messy activities. Instructor: Mrs. Syvrud *Teachers will be responsible for putting the pants in and out of the ovens for students safety.* **Cell phones will be kept in a basket visible and assessible to all owners but will not be allowed in the cooking area. They will be allowed for pictures at the end! If you need to phone your child or he/she needs to phone you in an emergency, their phone will be there for use.**

Come join us and be a scientist! There will be activities that include playdough volcano, rockets, crystal making, and editable science projects! There will also be making glow in the dark fizzy goop! We will be learning how scientists work and the way that they see things! Instructor: Nannette McCurdy
Come join the summer version of "Fun Fridays"! Mornings will be spent in our GLOWING blacklight classroom singing, dancing, and playing games. Afternoons we will head outside for fun in the sun with games, races, chalk art, and cooling off in the shade and sprinklers! Plan to get wet! For four days students will be emerging in creative art activities. Students will complete nearly a dozen of creative projects and receive a sketchbook and learn how to draw the world around them. Please have students bring lunch each day and a water bottle. Instructor: Nathan Wonnacot and Christina Chadey
The kiddos will have a blast diving into all things pirate! we will explore various books, arts and crafts, snacks, games, and all sorts of fun hand-on activities! Please wear or provide clothing that can get messy :) Instructors: Jen Atkinson and Samantha Conover
