Beginning Cake Decorating Class (Ages 9-12)

Students will learn the skill of preparing and filling a piping tip bag, practice using different tips and learn to frost by practicing on cookies and cupcakes. If you love sweets in beautiful bright colors, join us in the Magic World of Willy Wonka Baking! We will be making loads of fun treats following Willy Wonka's wacky recipes. We will be playing games and having contests during all of the colorful and tasty fun! *Teachers will be responsible for putting the pants in and out of the ovens for students safety.* **Cell phones will be kept in a basket visible and assessible to all owners but will not be allowed in the cooking area. Astronomy – Session 4 (Grades finished 4th-8th)

Students will learn their way around the night sky as they are involved in daytime class sessions and hands-on experience with telescopes. They will view the night sky and learn the names of summer constellations and planets. The students will also travel to the Clark Planetarium in SLC, UT to observe the programs and exhibits offered at the planetarium. Families are invited to observe with the astronomers! Please meet at the lower parking lot below the dorms! Instructor: Denise Dewey *Students must ride the bus to and from the field trips.* *Students will be staying at the dorms at WWCC - all meals will be provided!
